The love story
When Kristin Taylor looked at the wine industry, she saw what was missing. Not just another wine label, but a movement. A chance to create wines that spoke to real moments and real people. As one of the few Black women in wine, she knew changing the industry meant doing things differently.
Today, KT Winery stands as proof that exceptional wine doesn't need generations of gatekeeping. That luxury can be accessible. That transparency and quality aren't mutually exclusive.
We believe wine should bring people together, not set them apart. Each bottle we craft celebrates this vision. From our KT Signature Collection, designed for life's finest moments, to Mom Juice, created for authentic, everyday joy.
Mom Juice
In 2020, Kristin and Macie Mincey decided to start Mom Juice which would launch late next year; after months of late nights, tears, and so many bottles of wine. When they developed their brand, we didn’t want to just put out wine — they wanted to change the entire narrative about motherhood. Kristin and Macie are two women of color who want to leave a legacy for our children, the same way our mothers did for us.
The Ecosystem
Some might think that not owning our own vineyard would be a setback, not us, though. We see it as an opportunity to foster an entire ecosystem. Our team has built lasting relationships built on trust and shared values with small, local growers. Not only do we (and you!) support small Black and woman-owned businesses but we’re creating a never-before-seen sharing economy of growers, manufacturers, and consumers working in tandem to set new standards for the winemaking industry. We believe in nurturing quality and community together.
