KT Winery is a digital-first experience winery. We want to bring the Napa experience into our customer’s homes. The Digital Marketing Internship Program gives students the opportunity to be immersed in all aspects of the digital marketing world with hands-on experience. Each intern receives a semester of one-on-one learning with Brand Strategists, Chief Sales Officer, the CEO, and Content Writers on the team.

We are looking for two interns - one that is more focused on the analytics and the data behind marketing. The other intern will be focused more on content creation for social platforms. 

Both interns will report to the CEO, Kristin Taylor directly but have frequent collaborations with our Chief Sales Officer, Social Media Director, Paid Media Strategist, and other team members. *Must be a current student to apply.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN:

  • Create compelling content for digital platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Facebook, and TikTok
  • How to read analytics and translate them into actionable plans with copywriters and creatives
  • Assist Strategists in developing social media plans
  • Collaborate on cross-departmental projects including one major capstone project
  • Identify top influencers pertinent to clients’ brands or platforms for our collaborations
  • Measure and report on campaign analytics

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • User-based understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram etc.)
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Fluency with G Suite and E-mail Etiquette
  • Ability to be consistent with communication and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a team

EVEN BETTER, BUT NOT REQUIRED:

  • Experience in social media management
  • Understanding of social media management tools (Later.com, Plannoly, etc.)
  • Customer Service experience in online or in-person retail environments

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Writing copy for our digital platforms (social media, website or, SMS/email marketing) or creating visual content for our digital platforms
  • Analytical research monitoring social metrics (we’ll teach you how to do this)
  • Weekly assignments
  • Research and outreach as appropriate

POSITION DETAILS:

  • 16 – 20 hours/week (flexible) spread out over at least 3 days a week
  • Unpaid if given for school credit with the opportunity to receive a performance bonus based on monthly reviews
  • If the position is not for school credit, an appropriate stipend can be discussed

We are looking to hire (1) part-time or full-time paid position after the term.
